Shred Day 04.29.2023 Results

On April 29th Wave held its annual Shred Day event at the 480 Greenwich Avenue branch in Warwick.  We recycled 2.37 tons of paper saving 40 mature trees, 16,000 gallons of water, 7 cubic yards of landfill space, and 900 gallons of oil! Also, we recycled enough to save the energy equivalent of 390 gallons of gasoline.  Each year we invite our members to visit our branch and bring us their paperwork with sensitive information for us to destroy so no one can steal their valuable personal information. This event is always FREE to our Wave members.

Our support brings local families and elderly some need holiday joy. This year, we were able to provide over 98 gifts and 10 elder bags filled with toys, clothing, personal care items, and grocery gift cards.
