Our annual Shred Event was a great success. We effectively and securely, helped members get rid of old documents. This year alone we shredded over 2820 lbs. and saved nearly 16 trees. Thank you to everyone that came together to make this a huge victory for our environment.

For the 3rd year in a row, Wave FCU continued to support Warwick North Softball Little League with their grand slam sponsorship.  Last year Warwick North softball won the Little League state title, advancing them to regionals covered on ESPN.

Warwick North Softball Little League officially formed in October 2018 with the separation of Warwick North Little League.  Warwick North Softball Little League provides an opportunity for girls between the ages of 4 and 16 to learn and play the game of softball.  Warwick North Softball Plays on Bend Street in Warwick, Rhode Island. 

Despite the continued challenges due to the pandemic, the Credit Unions of RI continued to support our athletes by donating over $65,000 this year. The RI Credit Unions are one of the largest corporate donors to the Special Olympics Rhode Island. More than $1.38 million has been raised over the past 25 years! These funds ensure that athletes have the opportunity to challenge themselves and enjoy the sense of achievement through athletic involvement.
