Congratulations Wave 2008 FCU Scholarship Winners! Kevin Berghorn * Also won $500 from the CUARI Scholarship Program. Each year Wave Federal Credit Union awards six cash scholarships to full-time undergraduate college students and high school seniors. Winners are chosen following an extensive application process evaluating financial need, grades, a personal essay and extracurricular/community service activities. Congratulations again. And best of luck and success! Wave participates in Hasbro Banking Days Each year Wave participates in Hasbro Inc’s two-day Banking Services program. It’s a wonderful way to say hello to old friends and current members and to reinforce a relationship with Hasbro, which goes back 55-years. Our recently rejuvenated Benefit Street, Pawtucket office is the site of the former Hasbro Employees Federal Credit Union with whom we merged in 2003.

Workshop at Pilgrim Senior Center, Warwick as part of “Out from Under”

On Saturday night, March 15th, Wave sponsored our third annual Providence Bruins game at the refurbished Dunkin Donut Center. In addition to turning out a large contingent of Wave members for the event, we distributed special clappers to the first 1,000 kids through the doors.
This past school year a number of Wave employees are serving as adult role models and be paired with deserving students in the Warwick school system. The mentoring program helps kids in need achieve their hopes and dreams. We’re proud of our committed employees and delighted to be partnering with this most deserving program.
